BUSINESS UNIT
The
Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) Propulsion initiative is focused on
developing advanced propulsion systems for unique CCA platforms that will
support various Autonomous Air Vehicle missions. Honeywell has a family of
current and future propulsion offerings for this emerging aircraft class.
Position Overview:
As a Director of Product Management at Honeywell, you will hold a senior leadership position responsible for driving customer discovery, New Product Development (NPD) execution, and New Product Introduction (NPI) acceleration in your region. Your role will be crucial in shaping the product strategy and roadmap for CCA Propulsion, understanding customer needs, and developing a business case that leads to successful product launches. Additionally, as a people leader, you will play a key role in developing and supporting your teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in product or program management, with significant experience in leading NPI initiatives and teams.
- Strong technical background with expertise in product development, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
- Proven track record of driving innovation, strategic growth, and achieving business objectives through successful NPI initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- NPI Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive NPI strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and priorities for NPI initiatives and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team responsible for NPI initiatives, including product managers, engineers, designers, and marketers. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure alignment, collaboration, and high performance across the team.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for product expansion or innovation through NPI initiatives.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
- Product Roadmap Development: Lead the development of product roadmaps for NPI initiatives, outlining key milestones, features, and enhancements to be delivered over time. Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Serve as the primary point of contact for NPI-related matters and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for NPI initiatives, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
- Innovation and Future Planning: Drive innovation within the NPI process by identifying new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Work closely with R&D and innovation teams to develop and test new product concepts.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration
- Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps
