Full Job Description
Our well known Marine focused nonprofit client is looking for a highly collaborative, environmentally passionate Director of Digital Product Management to join their team.
This Role is onsite 3 times/week to collaborate with team and stakeholders.
This Director of Digital Product Management will be:
- Reporting to the VP of Technology and Innovation, responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a team of product managers and UI/UX experts
- Building relationships with internal cross-functional stakeholders and winning their buy in on new Product visions
- Helping deliver the orgs suite of products (e.g., websites and intranet, membership and ticketing platforms, online store, explore experience and collaboration tools)
- Implementing product management methodologies that put the user first
- A hands-on leader who defines the product strategy, roadmap, and user experience; will consider the entire product lifecycle to align initiatives across products and develop clear, measurable, and achievable outcomes in line with mission and business goals
- Establishing and/or improving product operations, including sprint management, resource allocation, deployment, task management, and feature requestsand spreading the practice of product management
- Leading the definition of product vision, roadmap, and product priorities and drives the execution of products through the management of people, software development, and implementation of solutions that carry forward the organization's initiatives
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years managing digital teams and product strategy
- Minimum 7+ years developing customer-facing digital technologies
- Knowledge of enterprise platforms and products including CMS for websites and intranet, ecommerce and customer relationship management, apps and interactive experience, employee service and collaboration tools.
- Ability to build high-performing agile teams and developing a talent plan that ensures the right people are in the right roles at the right time, and employees are highly engaged and satisfied
- Background in fundraising, B2C (philanthropic, attendance-driven, education)
