The Director CT Image Quality & Imaging Platform will play a key global leadership role in Philips' Computed Tomography (CT) Systems team, with the primary responsibility in leading/driving an end-to-end view of Image Quality in Philips Computed Tomography (CT) systems.
Your role:
- Global Leadership of the Image Quality Team, covering the full product life cycle-early stage (advance) development, new product introduction (NPI), through sustaining activities for the install base.
- Ownership of system physics and algorithms (with key focus on reconstruction algorithms), as well as platform development, which focuses on the practical implementations and product realizations of the algorithms and the link to all other sub systems.
- Will lead and conduct technical reviews.
- Must be local to or willing/able to relocate to the Cleveland, OH area OR open to frequent travel to the Orange, OH site for this Hybrid based role.
- Role may require travel up to 20% (some international).
You're the right fit if:
- You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in medical Imaging, focused in CT physics, as well as proficiency with image/signal processing and algorithm development.
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic and functional team/organizational leadership, with a strong track record in talent/team development, strong conflict resolution skills and domain expertise in Medical/CT Imaging.
- You have excellent communication and technical writing skills, including the ability to successfully interface, influence and present to managers and stakeholders at all levels.
- You have a proven track record of leadership, and the ability to work /contribute in a Matrixed, Global Organization/team environment.
- You have a proven ability to take clinical needs at system level and break it down to lower levels, with comprehensive/explicit specifications. Ability to document and explain complicated design or problem to non-specialists in a clear and understandable manner.
- You have a proven track record of high initiative and graduate level research skills on previous projects.
- You have a minimum of a Master of Science in Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics (required). PhD desired.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
