Job Summary
Responsible for helping to develop, implement and managing a comprehensive, global strategic investor relations program on a highly proactive basis. This program will effectively communicate Medline's value creation proposition to investment audiences as the Company continues to advance its position as the leading medical-surgical product and supply chain solutions provider serving the entire continuum of care. This professional will have combined leadership skills internally with colleagues and credibility with the financial markets, which will be a significant aspect of his/her ability to contribute meaningfully to favorable positioning of the Company's shares for maximum market valuation.In addition, the professional in this position will collaborate closely with Medline's Corporate Communications on messaging and management of issues to ensure communications to all external and internal audiences are integrated and consistent. This person will be accountable for integrating the tone and strategy of all investor relations activities with Medline's vision and corporate business objectives, including pertinent corporate/brand image, identity and positioning issues and stances. This professional will also be responsible for monitoring on a broad scale basis the overall effectiveness of investor relations programs, as well as for recommending new strategies/programs to broaden shareholder/Wall Street interest.
This is a hybrid role based out of Northfield, IL onsite Tuesday-Thursday.
Job Description
Develop investor relations goals and objectives in tandem with the Group Head, Investor Relations, to support overall corporate business objectives.
Serve as a primary interface with the investment community, communicating and educating interested parties in a timely manner regarding the investment attributes of the company.
Build relationships with existing and prospective analysts and investors, including developing and implementing innovative and creative investor targeting programs.
Prepare key investment messages and communicate financial performance, business conditions, company strategies, developments, and growth fundamentals to sell-side analysts and investors.
Ensure consistency of positioning and messaging of Medline's strategy to the investment community, and work with Corporate Communications to ensure that investor communications are consistent with overall corporate messaging and positioning.
Lead the development of financial documents, including financial results press release and quarterly earnings presentation. Assist external reporting and legal with annual and quarterly filing requirements.
Work in tandem with legal colleagues in the planning of the Annual General Meeting, and assist with annual corporate governance outreach efforts.
Co-manage the annual report process, including vendor selection and narrative development.
Develop and produce presentation materials used by senior management in a myriad of investor related settings.
Manage the message content for the investor relations portion of the corporate website and implementation of that strategy.
Provide hands-on execution regarding information, schedules, displays and other materials related to Medline's road shows and other types of investment community meetings.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the performance models by which analysts make their recommendations and share that information with appropriate leaders.
Monitor peer companies in the industry in an effort to supply competitive intelligence to senior management and advise how emerging trends may/may not affect Medline's investor strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required in business or finance
At least 10 or more years of experience in investor relations, preferably in a publicly held global company, or similarly related experience in investment banking, equity research, business development, strategy and/or consulting with a focus on healthcare.
Deep knowledge of medical supply and/or healthcare
Executive presence and a track record of leadership at a senior level in a dynamic and growth-oriented company/industry
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including strong presentation skills
Superior financial and investment analysis capabilities, including clear and thorough understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques used by financial and investment professionals.
Ability to distill complicated information into simple concepts
Exceptional judgment and the ability to operate effectively across organization boundaries
An "entrepreneurial" mindset that is flexible, self-motivated and can get things done
Preferred requirements
MBA degree with concentration in finance

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$175,760.00 - $263,640.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
