BAE Systems is seeking a Design Quality Process Analyst, that will support the Design Quality Assurance team, to achieve day-to-day objectives ensuring product development adherence to applicable business development processes and workflows that ensure compliance to industry standards

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the Design Quality Engineers and work closely together as a team to provide the quality oversight needed to ensure effective developments.
  • Assist in planning and executing a quality audit strategy.
  • Report on progress, status, issues, and documenting audit results.
  • Conduct process audits with a focus on ensuring that artifacts are developed properly, and peer reviews are held according to process.
  • Assist with quality record creation and processing of engineering change orders.
  • Participate in witnessing of verification and validation of engineering products.
  • Produce and review Quality metric reports with engineering stakeholders.
  • Use trend analysis and other tools to identify early warning indicators of program issues.
  • Employ methods such as root cause analysis as appropriate and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the lead coordinator and facilitator of formal customer led or independent 3rd Party audits.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a flexible hybrid work format with time split between working onsite and remotely.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Engineering/Development Lifecycle experience.
  • Ability to acquire security clearance through the Department of Defense.
  • Ability to communicate with peers and leaders within the company.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System documentation as it relates to product development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • AS9100/ISO9000 certification & audit experience.
  • Experience with JIRA workflow management.
  • A working knowledge of Oracle is a real plus.
  • Root Cause/Corrective Action methodologies: 8D, 5 why, etc.
  • Positive "we can" attitude with a passion for customer satisfaction.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $48800 - $83000

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
