Please review the following job description:

Responsible for developing and maintaining Data Movement Frameworks for Data Ingestion on Enterprise Data Lake. This subject matter expert/Lead will be responsible for Framework development, enhancement, bug fixes, Informatica DEI upgrades, Platform stability, Vulnerability management, Cloudera Administration, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Defines and operationalizes the data platform, and maps relevant use cases for OS and/or Big Data applications.
2. Develops, maintains, and improves deployment pipelines for infrastructure, applications and data. Maintains and ensures operational metadata (logs, performance metrics, etc.) are available for diagnostics.
3. Builds architecture for data and/or Big Data Platforms and distributed systems. Creates automated solutions to deliver analytical capabilities and build new data pipelines.
4. Analyzes information to determine business needs from requests and implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
5. Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information.
6. Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in systems engineering or administration or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. In-depth knowledge of Linux, Unix, Windows Shell Programming, Python, Git, Networking, Storage Systems (HDFS, GPFS)
3. Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree and six years of experience or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Banking or financial services experience
3. Full understanding of Agile methodology

4. Well-versed in working in distributed teams comprised of both onshore and offshore

5. Ability to develops, operationalize, and deliver periodic enhancements to data movement frameworks on Enterprise Data Lake platform

6. Ability to perform upgrades, design & code reviews, SAST & DAST scan & fixes

7. Aptitude to provide Framework trainings to stakeholders
