About this Opportunity

  • The Investigations Supervisor coordinates investigators in the execution of company investigations designed to eliminate fraud and protect profits. Provides leadership and direction to the corporate investigators to build and document case evidence and works closely with field and corporate Asset Protection, Legal and other corporate entities to see all investigations through to resolution.
  • Provides leadership and direction to Corporate investigators with regards to all investigative functions and processes.
  • Manages the work flow of investigative resources to maximize results.
  • Works cross functionally with Field and Corporate Asset Protection, Legal, Operations, and other corporate entities to resolve investigations.
  • Coordinates, executes and runs complex fraud and integrity investigations.
  • Oversees cases through their completion, ensuring appropriate recovery response, documentation and follow up.
  • Maintains a consistent execution of processes and support during litigation; to include the documentation of evidence relating to POS
  • transactions, exception-based reporting, internal and external video and shops.
  • Develops strong analytical and investigative skills with Corporate Investigators.
  • Motivates and model's efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to their team and identifies new methods that will raise the bar and add value to the team or department.
  • Recruits, hires, trains and supervises Corporate Investigators.
  • Maintains a fully staffed team of investigators with strong analytical, investigative and computer skills.
  • Establishes regular communication with the Corporate Investigations Manager and other key Asset Protection Partners to align the investigative function with the overall AP strategy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
  • YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: NA
  • YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA
  • CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Expert with Microsoft Office - Excel/Word/PP
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Extensive experience with exception-based reporting
  • Effective communication
  • Understanding of Financial methodologies.

Education:

  • Bachelors/4 Yr Degree; Wicklander-Zulawski Interview/Interrogation Certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 2+ years investigative and retail operations-related experience, multi-unit preferred.
  • Demonstrate capacity for gathering/scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to successfully oversee and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of retail business acumen.
  • Experience in leading others and executing investigative processes.
