Great Care, Delivered™ is the promise that we make to our customers, and it all starts with our ingredients! As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for blending the highest-quality ingredients to create the first-class medications our animal friends deserve.
When will you work?
- You will work Monday - Wednesday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, this is a temporary position.
What you’ll do:
- Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.
- Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist.
- Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security.
- Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies.
- Enters data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements.
- Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal.
- Performs general clerical duties for the department.
What you’ve done:
- Obtained a High School Diploma or GED
- California State Pharmacy Technician License Required
- You've worked in a ‘fast-paced’ environment and really embrace it
- Demonstrated the ability to follow very specific guidelines and procedures
- Developed strong basic math skills such as averages, percentages, and ratio

- Always show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude. No exceptions!
- Able to lift up to 49 lbs. occasionally and stand for a prolonged period of time
