The successful candidate will work closely with our board-certified Internists to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions.

As a CVT in the Internal Medicine department, you be responsible for the following duties:

Providingcompassionate care and monitoring for animals admitted to the Internal Medicine department.
Assist with a variety of diagnostic procedures.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, offeringguidance on their animal's condition and treatment options.
Monitoring anesthetic procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
Assist veterinarians during procedures such as biopsies, aspiration cytology, endoscopies and more.
Collaborate closely with other veterinary professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Advocate for the well-being of patients, ensuring they receive appropriate care and treatment.
Other duties as assigned.

About You:

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting required.
CVT or VTS preferred but not required.

Schedule and Compensation:

4/10 hour weekday shifts
Must be able to work some holidays
Hourly pay starts at $21/hr and may be higher depending on experience and qualifications.
