Business Operations Intern, Oncology Global Medical Affairs
Full Job Description
We are seeking graduate-level students for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be working on a global team with 2 openings in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the execution of various high-impact projects within the oncology medical affairs business operations team.
- Provide operational support to the medical affairs team, including analyzing data, preparing reports, and aiding in the development of operational strategies.
- Enact creative and innovative decision-making skills for new initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- Junior Bachelor's students (rising seniors), Master's, or doctoral level students working towards a degree in a business, operations, innovation, scientific, or related field. Candidates graduating before or during the program will not be considered.
- Business strategy and operations experience or exposure
- Pharmaceutical/biotechnology/healthcare industry experience or interest
- Creative and innovative problem solver, self-starter, can work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
- Clear communication, time management, organizational skills, and adaptability.
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
- Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days per week without relocation assistance.
- US Work Authorization is required for this application. CPT and OPT are not supported for this role.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0
