Job Title: Budget Analyst (GFEBS)
Client Details: DoD Client
Role Type: 6 month contract to hire
US Government Clearance Required: Active Secret
Shift: M-F standard 40-hour work weeks
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Silver Spring, MD
Compensation: $52-62/hr.

Our client is seeking Budget Analyst support who is responsible for providing advice and assistance to the Commander and staff in matters concerning the budget, management of out-year planning and other matters affecting the efficient and effective utilization of resources available to the facility.
The analyst duties will include:
- Provide Travel Coordination Service(s) to provide support on conducting cost benefit economic analysis on the institutes travel program
- Lead Analyst for a team of 3 budget analysts.
- Redesigned and overhauled various reports.
- Responsible for Performance Ratings for team members.
- Providing any over the shoulder the assistance to members of Resource Management.
- Created ULO report for all contracts in GFEBS up to date with current burn rates.
- Tracking commitments and obligations of DHP, PEPFAR, RDTE and OMA Funding.
- Taking on complex projects and creating Ad Hoc reports.
- Updating the daily Status of Funds Master File.
- Responsible for running the weekly/biweekly Briefing Report.
- Maintaining the Master Science Spend Plan.
- Reconciling unmatched disbursements.
Required:
- 2+ years experience working with GFEBS.
- 5+ years experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance required
Nice to haves’ skills/technologies:
- DoD Financial Management Certificate Level I-III
- CDFM
- PMP certificate
- Understanding of Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE)
