WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Nature Conservancy believes that biodiversity credits can provide a good opportunity to advance our mission. Over the next several years, with support from the Attwood family foundation, TNC and our partners will design and test the application of biodiversity credits in the Northwestern United States and at least one other geography globally. This effort will also research whether apex predators can be incorporated successfully into a biodiversity credit framework. Based on the trials and research, this program will work closely with science, policy and impact finance and markets to influence the regulatory framework for biodiversity credits globally.

The Attwood Family Foundation has provided a multi-year commitment to develop this program and TNC is looking for a leader to manage and coordinate the project deliverables. The Program Director will manage to the outcomes of the Attwood Grant. Deploying formal project management approaches, they will oversee project teams of colleagues and partners around the globe and work collaboratively to deploy and scale biodiversity credit solutions to achieve our mission. Under the supervision of and working closely with the Director of Conservation Programs, Policy, Western Division Director, and the Director of Impact Finance and Markets, they will be responsible for building strong internal Conservancy partnerships to ensure the timely execution of the program globally across multiple programs and business units.
