Billing & Posting Clerk position $41,321 - $53,945 (40 Hours per week) includes benefit package. Successful completion of Civil Service Examination is required, and applicants must meet all requirements set forth in the Employees Civil Service Ordinance. Pre-employment background investigation and substance abuse testing is required.

This position is responsible for establishing new accounts, processing applicable forms, activating billing procedures, analyzing and adjusting customer accounts. Computes, posts and enters daily and monthly charges into the BS&A computer system. Also, corrects billing errors such as: adjusting amounts, names and address changes when necessary. Maintains a wide variety of computerized and manual files, records, and related information for the purpose of documenting activities, ensuring up-to-date reference trail and providing material and reliable resource information. Provides counter assistance and answers inquiries from departments, the public, vendors and other government entities. Performs other clerical tasks and related works as required.
