Position: Application Developer
Location: New York, NY
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6+ Month W2 Rolling Contract (Potential to Go Perm)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Analyze, Design, Develop, Test and Implement an alternative process to streamline trading processes when systems are down. Must have trading desk experience and knowledge of Repurchase Agreements and Pledging processes. This system will help the operations and technology teams to support a 2Q2025 Cyber (System Outage) Test.
Work with onshore business teams to develop software new applications and enhancements. Unit test the solution and document the implemented design, procedures and manuals for the final software solution. Resolve production support issues and coordinate release of new applications and enhancements. Graduation. B. E/MCA preferred.
Need a hands-on developer with WinForms/WPF client development experience to integrate multiple sources including SQL server, SFTP, SOAP, WEBAPI and in XML/JSON formats.
Must Haves:
• C#, WinForms, WPF
• SQL Server
• ETL extraction
• UI that will connect with InTrader
• Resiliency project focused around BlackRock Aladdin and FIS Global InTrader
•Understanding of fixed incomes/repo
Nice to Haves:
• BlackRock Aladdin
• FIS Global InTrader
Selling Points for Candidates:
• In office 2 days per week (team usually goes in Tuesday-Thursday)
