Here are the details:
Position: App Production Support
Location:Jersey City, New Jersey
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6+ Month W2 Rolling Contract (Potential to Go Perm)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1.Respond to and resolve business queries for Counterparty Credit Risk space.
2.Manage user query mailbox effectively, understand the scope of team’s work and ensure timely and appropriate response is provided for all user queries.
Respond to and resolve feed and batch support items, Manage alerts and monitoring.
3.Utilize important framework tools such as ITSM, JIRA, ITRS, etc. for both making updates and producing reports.
4.Incident management - provide timely and accurate user notifications as well as management escalations when needed.
5.Documentation and knowledge management
6.Follow up and coordinate resolutions with various development teams.
7.Assist with metrics reporting.
8.Coordinate and perform Business Continuity testing and related paperwork.
9.Organize and run meetings independently for issue resolution.
10.Identify scope for automation to reduce manual, repeating tasks.
Must Haves:
1. 5+ years of Production Support experience.
2. Strong SQL Knowledge.
3. Strong UNIX / LINUX knowledge.
4.Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
5.Working knowledge of ITIL.
6.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7.Excellent project and time management skills.
8.Ability to work in a multi-regional team
Nice to Haves:
1.Financial industry experience.
2.Knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk.
3.Python.
4.Agile methodology.
