Key Responsibilities
Calculate and prepare journal entries dealing with more complex accounting functions.
Review, analyze, and resolve accounting exceptions and reconciliation issues.
Manage and revise complex spreadsheets, and update financial reports.
Follow specific and detailed accounting procedures, meeting tight deadlines.
Execute cash settlements while adhering to strict controls and deadlines.
Provide functional advice and training to business partners and less-experienced accountants.
Participate as a subject matter expert on business projects.
Participate in gathering requirements and in testing of new products.
Improve processes to ensure that integrity, control and optimal efficiency are established to minimize financial risks.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that support the department goals and service levels.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience or associate's degree or equivalent with 1-3 years of accounting experience
Good understanding of financial instruments
Ability to apply root cause analysis on medium to complex issues.
Fluent in use of Microsoft Office programs - specifically Excel.
Strong understanding of systems, controls, accounting knowledge and financials.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree focus in Accounting or Finance or related field
Strong technical ability using the general ledger, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
Experience with the Workday general ledger system.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $61,100- $82,500/ year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
