As an ATP/CTP Instructor with a major airline partner of Aquent, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of airline pilots, ensuring the highest safety standards and operational excellence. You will be directly responsible for guiding pilots through advanced training programs, bridging the gap between commercial and ATP certification. As an ATP/CTP Instructor, you will:
- Deliver engaging ground and flight training sessions utilizing a variety of methods and tools, including classroom instruction, virtual procedures trainers (VPTs), and full-flight simulators.
- Reinforce air carrier concepts and principles through hands-on training, fostering a deep understanding of aircraft systems, normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the ATP/CTP training program, including visual aids and other training materials.
- Maintain a state-of-the-art training environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are readily available and functioning properly.
- Uphold the highest standards of technical accuracy in all training materials, including computer-based modules and aircraft manuals.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry
- 2+ years of pilot experience with a Part 121 air carrier
- ATP certificate with an applicable Type Rating
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on aviation, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience
- Strong understanding of Crew Resource Management (CRM) concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 21
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with fixed-wing and multi-engine aircraft
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $69.83 to $77.59 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
