Job Description
The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment
Track and maintain accurate inventories
Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
Support day-to-day functions of the AKN Materials team to ensure safety, quality, and delivery standards are met
Lead all projects associated with Warehouse and Storage of materials
Track and improve the flow of materials; point of receipt, delivery, storage, picking, packing and shipping

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Strong background in warehouse procedures, and proper disposal procedures
Ability to communicate clearly to all levels in the organization
Forklift certification
Previous experience in warehouse operations and management
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills
The ideal candidate will be ambitious and motivated by gaining a broad exposure to all facets of the organization
Impeccable work ethic, flexible, hands-on, and demonstrated adaptability
Sense of urgency and critical thinking skills
Ability to professionally communicate with stakeholders and customers
Customer service focused
Strong self-motivator with ability to prioritize and multi-task, and possess process improvement and problem resolution skills
Train, mentor, and support team leaders

HS Diploma: 8+ Years experience
AA Degree: 6+ Years experience
BA/BS Degree: 4+ Years experience
MA/MS Degree: 2+ Years experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience implementing best practices within DoD or Federal government environments
Require little to no supervision - proactive approach to issue identification and resolution
Experience with Project Management
Lean, Six Sigma, APICS, CPIM, PMP Certifications
Degree in Supply Chain Management

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
