As a Test Technician, you will:

Volt is immediately hiring for Test Technician in Sun Valley, CA.
As a Test Technician, you will:
- Maintain strict adherence to AS9100
- Generate Non-Conforming Reports (NCR) based on product, component, or documentation discrepancies.
- Perform and comply with acceptance test procedures.
- Follow oral and written instructions for special tests.
- Follow document control requirements AS9100, 8.5.2.
- Adhere to strict safety standards.
- Responsible for documentation traceability.
- Work from redlined drawings to modify circuits.
- Inspect Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies against schematics for correct assemblies.
- Support production and engineering including, but not limited to: testing using automated test equipment, reporting any anomalies observed, testing and troubleshooting assemblies, subassemblies, and components, modifying current products for special testing per given instructions.
- Calibrate all applicable tools according to the calibration schedule.
- Physically record test instructions.
- Program and maintain automated test equipment.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and have strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of electronics and programmable controllers.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, good manufacturing practices, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of an organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with a variety of problems that may arise.
