Tenant Engagement Manager reports directly to the Director of Tenant Engagement or Senior Property Manager
Responsibilities:
- Work with the engagement team to create and execute branded events designed to amplify owner and tenant value systems, foster an environment focused on community and connection, promote health and wellness, and develop time-saving convenience services.
- Skilled in employing an entrepreneurial spirit to purchase, style, and maintain trending event décor and equipment.
- Develop an understanding of ownership and tenant value systems, brand, tenant ESG initiatives, and return to office plans.
- In collaboration with leasing teams, have a working knowledge of building comps, understanding of competitor programming and amenities, and research perspective tenants to design a tailored tour experience.
- Creating and maintaining a Tenant Engagement budget for the budget year and track expenses appropriately.
- Manage engagement expenses, vendor invoicing, expense reporting, and client invoicing.
- Assist in building a sense of culture across the property team, promote employee engagement, and engage in national training.
- Implement then modify programming based on captured data to demonstrate tenant engagement’s quantified impact by analyzing marketing strategies, analyzing building app data, completing required reporting, and setting targets for milestones.
- Review, prepare, and present impact reports/surveys/presentations as needed to program director, asset managers, and colleagues, both internally and externally.
- Cultivate and sustain positive connections with local businesses and vendors, non-profits, and community outreach programs in an effort remain good stewards of our local neighborhoods.
- Serve as the point of contact for tenant mov-ins/move-outs, building technology liaison, tenant event requests, and VIP visits.
- Ability to think strategically in order to scale tenant engagement programming.
- Support and coordinate meeting logistics with tenant contacts to including managing digital booking methods.
- Document and escalate maintenance and facilities issues through the proper channels.
- Learn basic AV troubleshooting and be able to help clients connect to the installed in room systems seamlessly.
Essential skills, abilities, knowledge and experience:
- Exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Self-motivation and proactivity
- A Bachelor’s degree – Communications, Hospitality, Retail, Travel or Marketing; or industry related curriculum, with work experience in the meeting planning industry preferred (Hotel, convention center, corporate or association).
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in meeting/event planning in government, corporate, or hotel and convention services.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to understand and carry out industry specific written and oral direction. Positive, innovative approach to problem solving. Presents ideas in a clear, concise, understandable, and organized manner; negotiate, persuade, and modify opinion in order to reach the goals/objectives of the organization.
- Ability to work independently as a project leader and as a team member. Ability to relate well with others even while working at a distance without the benefit of personal contact. Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion is critical to success. Must be professional at setting priorities and coping with competing demands.
