Duties
This position is located at Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Office of Analytics (OA).
As a Supervisory Statistician (Operations and Administration), you will:
- Help manage the OA's Enterprise Analytics (EA) team, a group of highly technical professionals to apply scientific methods in understanding data to develop major aspects of key Bureau policy, regulatory and operational decisions.
- Assess and understand TTB business user needs, business practices and processes.
- Lead the development of innovative analytical or statistical approaches where no precedent exists.
- Develop and apply statistical methods to identify, collect, process and analyze large volumes of data to build and enhance products, processes and systems.
- Lead discussions among data stewards, Data Governance Board members and other data stakeholders to improve data literacy across the organization.
- Interpret and implement Federal requirements on data, such as the OPEN Government Act, DATA Act, Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act, and Geospatial Data Act.

Qualifications
