Staff Accountant is responsible for general ledger entries, accounts receivable and billing, accounts payable and other accounting functional duties. The Staff Accountant is a non-exempt position with a 45-hour work week. The right person will possess a desire to grow within the accounting department and Hyatt.

Qualifications
Accounting, Purchasing or other hotel related experience preferred.
Flexibility in schedule depending on reporting deadlines and closing schedules.
Prepares Daily Revenue Report for department managers including reconciles and posts daily revenue and payment activity.
Assist with the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reviewing and completing assigned month-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintain documentation related to balance sheet accounts.
Code and submit miscellaneous invoices for payment.
Maintain contracts for hotel as well as updating COI's for venders.
Reconcile and provide detailed billing for event programs. Reconcile and provide detailed billing in the form of monthly statements to unit owners.
Must have strong financial competence.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel & Outlook.
