Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Technical Program Lead for Kitchen Technology to steward the work that will enable restaurant operators and team members to manage kitchen production and throughput. You will be responsible for partnering with various teams within Chick-fil-A to ensure there are technology solutions to support the functions of menu management, nutrition, food safety, lean capabilities, and pricing. This role will enable the back of house teams within the restaurant to operate against our priorities for quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting or working with kitchen technology, working closely with cross-functional teams, and driving successful implementations in a fast-paced, global organization. They should be comfortable navigating the complexities of both menu, nutrition and pricing standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the brand.

The position is based in Atlanta, GA.Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and remotely, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and management of kitchen technology programs across international restaurant locations.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders, including Division Leads, Field Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, and Restaurant Experience, to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
  • Ensure programs are aligned with company goals for operational efficiency, cost control, and customer experience.
  • Support project/program lifecycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation and integration of inventory and menu management software.
  • Drive continuous improvements to digital solutions, optimizing for ease of use, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Manage data integrity across platforms, ensuring alignment between inventory levels, POS systems, and menu offerings.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline menu updates, item availability tracking, and real-time inventory reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to inventory and menu related technology.
  • Stay informed about industry innovations, regulations and compliance requirements related to restaurant technology.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role, or working closely with kitchen technology, within the QSR industry
  • In-depth knowledge of digital technologies, restaurant operations, hospitality industry standards, point of sale systems, payments processing, self-service kiosks, and mobile application
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience leading significant technical initiative and programs
  • Knowledge and/or experience with development approaches and techniques
  • Experience in driving teams and management to decisions
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them to techno-functional requirements that deliver desired outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent personal and relational intelligence
  • Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to collaborate and make decisions in the gray
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage vendors
