About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a Senior Systems Administrator supporting the Siemens Teamcenter PLM product. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Teamcenter PLM system architectures, including hardware and software configurations
- Develop and implement complex Teamcenter workflows, including creating and editing workflow definitions
- Integrate Teamcenter with other systems and applications, including CAD, CAE, and ERP systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical Teamcenter issues, including performance problems and data corruption
- Develop and implement comprehensive system security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
- Manage and maintain system documentation, including technical guides and user manuals
- Collaborate with other teams, such as development and quality assurance, to ensure smooth integration and testing of systems
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including backup and restore procedures
- Lead and manage a team of systems administrators, including providing guidance, support, and training
- Develop and implement system standards and procedures, including best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the organization's IT systems
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and develop innovative solutions to improve systems
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, including mentoring and training
- Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, including analysis of logs and system metrics
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Develop and manage budgets for system upgrades, maintenance, and support
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners, including Siemens, to ensure timely support and maintenance of our Teamcenter PLM environment
- Any other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements are as follows:
A technical degree in computer science, or other related IT degree, and years of relevant experience for this position are as follows:
- HS diploma and 12+ years of related experience, or
- BS/BA and 10+ years of related experience, or
- MA/MS with 8+ years of related experience
Experience and skills in the following:
- MUST HAVE experience with Teamcenter administration tools, including Teamcenter Server, Teamcenter Client, and Teamcenter Web
- Strong understanding of IT principles, including operating systems, networking, and database management
- Experience leading and managing a team of systems administrators, including providing guidance, support, and training
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of SQL databases and query languages, including database design and optimization
- Experience developing and implementing system standards and procedures, including best practices and industry standards
- Experience developing and implementing comprehensive system security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow established procedures and protocols

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

- Certification in Siemens Teamcenter PLM
- Experience with multiple releases of Siemens Teamcenter, including upgrade and migration processes
- Knowledge of Teamcenter customization and development, including scripting languages (e.g. Python, C#) and API integration
- Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, and experience with cloud migration and deployment
- Experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption, and knowledge of security best practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data analytics
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Top Secret clearance
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as ISO 9001 or NIST
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including backup and restore procedures
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
