Social Copywriter (conceptual/social experience)

Aquent Studios is looking for a Social Copywriter who is  witty, engaging and understand how to write colloquially for the audience. Prior social experience is a must so you can write everything from short, funny captions all the way to long form potential scripts. Looking for someone who is  able to be a conceptual storyteller but also be able to direct.

Job Description:

The candidate will have their finger on the pulse of brand and visual / social pop culture. This person has likely written scripts before, reacted to trends, worked with influencers and is comfortable on set directing as well. An interest in AI and experience with experiential creative will be a plus.

The Copywriter will work closely with a Producer, Art Director, Creative Lead and the broader creative team to inject storytelling and copywriting for consumer-facing marketing campaigns, social content and related initiatives.

You will have a versatile copywriting skillset, be naturally proactive and a very good collaborator.

The candidate will be responsible for:
 

• * Writing mainly for Social but also general campaigns prioritizing Copilot, our AI platform but also potentially Surface, Windows, Microsoft 365, and Edge.
• * Brainstorming on campaign concepts, organic posts and ideas in response to real time trends
• – Partner with our in-house art director to create concepts and oversees them all the way to execution
• * Completing projects with little guidance after initial direction via organizational & timemanagement skills.
• * Contributing to the creative process by proactively involving yourself with all aspects of studio creative asset development from brainstorming, concept expansion, sketching ideas, storyboarding, draft assets, review, & delivery of final print ready assets.
• * 5+ years creative experience copywriting and editing print/video materials or related industry experiences; preferably on an agile team in a fast-paced reactive development environment.
• * Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• * Understanding of storytelling for consumer marketing.

Compensation Range: $55-$60/hr
