Job Title: Sr. Inventory Assistant (This position is Remote US only)

Essential Function
Assists in the preparation of Inventory Reconciliations, answers field questions and verifies inventory accuracy to ensure that the most efficient methods are being used.
Primary Duties
- 30% Prepares Inventory Reconciliations according to the policies and procedures established by Inventory Accounting.
- 20% Daily tracking and monitoring of inventory activity in the field and communication with the field regarding unusual adjustments.
- 15% Responsible for supporting field management regarding Inventory Accounting questions.
- 15% Responsible for certain month end and quarter end close duties.
- 10% Obtains shipment information to verify accuracy of reports to be worked.
- 10% Provide assistance in special projects and management requests as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school degree.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience and or college course work in accounting.
- Experience with personal computers to include Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in retail or inventory accounting preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to work independently.
Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
- The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
