General Responsibilities:
Clear Communication: Prepare concise and accurate reports based on spatial mapping research.
Mapping Expertise: Develop precise digital maps reflecting real-world topography using advanced GIS tools.
Data Management: Maintain an organized digital library by extracting and organizing geospatial data.
Cartographic Design: Apply cartographic principles to create visually appealing and informative custom maps.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with GIS technology through workshops, journals, and professional development.
Identify Opportunities: Proactively uncover business challenges and areas for improvement through spatial analysis.
Strategic Recommendations: Develop data-driven, actionable recommendations to address identified opportunities.
Pricing & Product Strategies: Utilize modeling and analytics to support the development of new lending products and pricing strategies.
Structured Problem-Solving: Apply problem-solving frameworks to develop hypotheses, conduct testing and analysis, and design effective solutions.
Implementation & Monitoring: Assess operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts, and establish monitoring plans to track success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Capital One (IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.) to drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and profitability.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to make sound decisions and solve problems based on data and analytics.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 1 year of experience in analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
1+ years of experience in market research
1+ years of experience in SQL querying
2+ years of experience in business analysis
1+ years of experience in consulting
