Purpose:
We are seeking a Sourcing and Vendor Management Sr Analyst to join our procurement team. This transactional role focuses on contract lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and operational support. The position also offers opportunities to support and grow into more strategic sourcing activities, such as RFx processes, strategic negotiation, and vendor performance optimization. Ideal candidates will have experience in procurement or a related field, strong business acumen, and a desire to build a career in sourcing and vendor management.Accountabilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and executing agreements.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and value-added services.
- Review transactional documents for completeness and accuracy to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
- Support supplier relationship management, including monitoring performance, evaluating SLAs, and ensuring accountability.
- Educate internal teams on vendor risk management processes and escalate issues as necessary.
- Partner with business teams to understand needs, assist in developing purchasing requirements, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate vendor follow-ups to evaluate expectations regarding deliverables, SLAs, and other metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, such as streamlining redundant vendor services or optimizing supplier performance.
- Assist in developing negotiation strategies for contracts, ensuring measurable performance outcomes and aligning with organizational goals.
- Use procurement software and tools to streamline processes, enhance data analysis, and support reporting needs.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of related business experience
- Familiarity with indirect procurement and contract lifecycle management.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders to address procurement needs.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with third-party suppliers in both negotiation and operational contexts.
- Ability to independently research industry trends and apply insights to procurement activities.
- Knowledge of vendor risk management practices and compliance processes.
