Lee Enterprises is seeking a highly qualified Solutions Architect / Lead Developer to play a critical role in driving the company's technology strategy and execution. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions while leading development teams. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, architecting solutions, and overseeing the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of modern software development practices and technology stacks.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions.
- Lead development teams in the implementation of software projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications.
- Continuously learn and apply the latest software development practices, tools, and technologies.
- Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of software solutions.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase changes and versioning.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and ceremonies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or Ruby.
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with back-end development and frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Spring, or .NET.
- Understanding of database systems, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor development teams.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with serverless computing.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Lead Developer, or similar role.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Desirable certifications include:
- Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Programmer
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
