The Revenue Recognition Accounting Team drives accuracy and transparency around revenue recognition to ensure consistent financial reporting. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving the company's revenue accounting initiatives and supporting critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, making a significant impact on the organization's revenue accounting function.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Leading revenue accounting assessments for new offering launches (NOL) and Go-to-Market initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company policies.
Managing the company's annual standalone selling price (SSP) studies, including analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Driving the implementation and upgrades of the company's revenue related systems, ensuring they align with business needs and support efficient operations.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, and Finance) to evaluate potential revenue impacts of business proposals and provide actionable insights.
Driving internal initiatives to improve processes, refine accounting conventions, and enhance the overall control framework.
Managing workflows to ensure timely and accurate feedback, keeping senior management informed of key issues and progress.
Partnering with the broader Revenue Accounting Team to complete month-end close activities, deal reviews, and other operational requirements.
Engaging with external auditors to resolve audit issues effectively and in a timely manner.
About You
Basic Qualifications
10+ years related experience in Technical Accounting
Degree in Accounting/Finance
Other Qualifications
CPA license preferred
Experience with SaaS/Technology industry preferred
5+ years of Big 4 experience
Experience in researching and interpreting technical accounting guidance
Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment
Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce, and experience using Workday

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
