The Sr Talent Acquisition Partner supports the Talent Acquisition function with a focus on Hiring & Onboarding. The incumbent will play an integral role in building trusted partnerships across the organization and serving as a strong brand representative of both the team and NorthStar Clean Energy. They'll work collaboratively with client groups and People & Culture Partners to achieve key initiatives through coordination of the talent acquisition life cycle. Accountable for supporting the Talent Acquisition function in the achievement of hiring and onboarding targets. On a daily basis they will interface with executives, managing complex schedules and onboarding arrangements, with strong organizational skills, focused attention to detail, and a high-level of confidentiality and discretion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of best-in-class experiences by delivering prompt, detailed, and personable communication to talent, both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for facilitation of overall search logistics including coordination with various Search Partners and candidates.
  • Responsible for overall data integrity and usage of multiple Recruiting Platforms. Counsel and advise senior leaders on usage and accuracy.
  • Create new process for all post-acceptance activities for a candidate, including background and drug screening oversight, relocation coordination, oversight of onboarding paperwork and various activities to include orientation and new hire transitions. Responding to questions from hiring leaders throughout the onboarding process
  • Serve as SME in SAP and create New Hire Onboarding process to increase efficiency in SAP including organizational management activities for Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensure regulatory processes are handled timely, and with a high degree of accuracy, to ensure compliance with various regulations (I-9, PRA, DOT, etc. regulations and audit to ensure requisitions are properly dispositioned and compliance related documentation is attached to the requisition)
  • Resolve issues during first contact with candidates and hiring managers, take ownership of situation and handle issue even when the issue is not directly related to their own efforts
  • Assist with implementation of future Talent Acquisition technologies
  • Contribute to execution of employment branding initiatives relative to social media presence, campaigns, advertisements and job boards
  • Support additional HR programs and initiatives such as performance management, talent management, and organizational/cultural development initiatives.
  • Other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Process/Project Management Skills
  • SAP systems and application knowledge
  • Implementation of HR technology programs
  • Ability to navigate an organization to get administrative tasks done
  • Problem solver with the ability to swiftly address challenges in high-pressure situations
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 4+ year's relevant experience as Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Recruiting, HR Generalist or Project Management Function required
