Senior Events Marketing Manager
Position Overview
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a Senior Events Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-impact B2B events that enhance brand visibility and drive engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in event management and marketing, who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional event experiences.
Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid preferred
Duration: 6 month contract
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
- Plan and execute B2B events and activations, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for event services.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote events effectively.
- Oversee project management of events, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Utilize HubSpot and Salesforce for event registration and follow-up processes.
- Create engaging presentations and materials using MS Office and PowerPoint.
- Monitor event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing management and/or experiential marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proficiency in HubSpot, SalesForce, Google Suite, and MS Office.
- Experience with virtual event platforms such as Zoom and Hopin.
- Experience producing B2B events (including conferences and tradeshows) that have driven measurable results.
- Excellent relationship-building and partnership development skills.
- Experience in vendor management and budgeting.
