Senior Events Marketing Manager

Position Overview
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a Senior Events Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-impact B2B events that enhance brand visibility and drive engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in event management and marketing, who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional event experiences.

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid preferred 
Duration: 6 month contract 
Hours: 40 hrs/week 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement event marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
• Plan and execute B2B events and activations, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for event services.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote events effectively.
• Oversee project management of events, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Utilize HubSpot and Salesforce for event registration and follow-up processes.
• Create engaging presentations and materials using MS Office and PowerPoint.
• Monitor event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in event marketing management and/or experiential marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Proficiency in HubSpot, SalesForce, Google Suite, and MS Office.
• Experience with virtual event platforms such as Zoom and Hopin.
• Experience producing B2B events (including conferences and tradeshows) that have driven measurable  results. 
• Excellent relationship-building and partnership development skills.
• Experience in vendor management and budgeting.
