We are seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Electrical and Controls team. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experiences in developing electronic control systems used for industrial cooling systems.
What you will experience in this position:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality products
Design and develop circuit board electronics, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection
Lead and coordinate simulation activities and analysis to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic designs
Develop internal nVent electronics hardware design language based on industry standard electronics design standards that conform to our unique applications
Specify and conduct validation testing of electronic systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronic designs, manufacturing processes and procurement issues
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Ideally 7+ years of related experience
Proven experience in board-level design and development of electronic circuits
Proficiency in using electronic design automation tools such as Altium Designer, or CAD, or similar
Experience with PCB layout and design for manufacturability
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
