Job Summary
The University of Michigan, School of Nursing (UMSN), Department of Health Behavior and Biological Sciences is currently seeking a Research Assistant to support a faculty member with the advancement of their professional scholarship, including scholarly writing for publication. The position entails partnering with the faculty member to write papers for publication, including; working on a paper outline, performing literature reviews, drafting and revising manuscripts to be submitted for publication.
- Assist in collecting survey and interview data
- Work on data management
- Assist with systematic reviews
- Assist with quality improvement projects

Supervision is received from the Faculty Principal Investigator (PI)
Required Qualifications*
- Graduation from a college or university of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of administrative research experience required.
- Software knowledge, SPSS, Excel, Word, Qualtrics, and PPT.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to receive and convey information clearly and concisely for various mediums.
- Exhibit attention to detail, an interest in research and the topic, an ability to work independently and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
