Our expansion, spanning 165,000 square feet, will introduce a state-of-the-art patient tower to our Round Rock hospital, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population. Among its highlights, the tower will house an innovative 11-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, alongside expanded capacities for crucial departments such as med/surg and labor and delivery.

* Expansions and upgrades to communal spaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Performs and directs the administration of respiratory care services (including but not limited to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and bedside spirometry), in partnership with attending physician and care team. Care is administered in a quality manner of excellence that is in accordance with established procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
Adheres to established policies including but not limited to infection control and isolation policies, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media.
Performs willingly and professionally with peers and patients to maintain the very best work environment and outcomes.
Embraces the autonomy to grow and enhance skills such that professional and technical requirements are accomplished.
Focuses on continuous quality improvement in all of the aspects of clinical care, identifying, executing, and sharing opportunities to improve patient care.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
General knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
Able to read, write and follow flow chart protocols as appropriate.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
General computer skills, including but not limited to: data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email.

QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
 Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer.
 Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
 Reg Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care.
