Qualitech is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Lab and Regulatory Tech to ensure product safety and the quality of all products in the Animal and Plant Divisions as well as ensuring regulatory compliance with regulatory bodies, customers and QualiTech.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for monitoring and reporting analytical results of products and raw materials including alerting out of compliance results.
- Assist in administering the Company's Quality Program in accordance with customer and company requirements. This includes:
- Review and develop QA procedures
- Regular review of production and receiving records
- Visible inspection and analysis of raw ingredients and finished product samples
- Maintain sample retain library
- Assist in troubleshooting product discrepancies
- Participate in finished goods hold/release system.
- Inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis
- Moisture analysis
- aW analysis
- Assist in compliance with all appropriate third-party audits such as Safe Food/Safe Feed and HACCP
- Maintain supplier documentation through TraceGains
- Maintain Document Control Program
- Assist in managing Brill and Adage Formula
- Maintain state licensing and registration for Animal Nutrition and Agronomy
- Maintain food safety culture regarding food defense, quality and cGMPs for production and warehousing products.
- Maintain production documents including archival storage & organization, master document storage, and certificates of analysis
- High School Diploma or GED required and 1 - 3 years of experience in quality control and assurance in a similar industry
- Bachelor's Degree in a science related field preferred.
- Preventative Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) preferred
- A background in manufacturing and processing environments is desired.
- Proven analytical strengths and experience.
- Experience in writing reports, procedures, instructions and/or processes.
- Working knowledge of the following: water activity, moisture analysis, inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis, determinations of boiling points and closed cup flash points, completion of customer regulatory documentation, supplier and ingredient assessments, state licensing.
- Strong knowledge of animal and plant products.
