Property Manager Summary:
This position requires a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the leasing activities and overall management of our property in San Marcos, Texas. The Property Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, tenant move-ins and move-outs, budget management, staff supervision, and participation in marketing events. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the property.

Property Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the leasing activities for the property (including showing units, preparing leases, and reporting leasing results to our office).
- Oversight of tenant move-ins and move-outs, including unit inspections and security deposit statement preparation.
- Submission of required status reports pertaining to property performance.
- Oversight and management of property budget and bills.
- Management and scheduling of leasing agents.
- Organization of and attendance at marketing events, including housing fairs, open houses, etc.
- Management of Entrata to keep all data accurate and current.
- Management of the maintenance staff to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Property Manager Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of on-site student housing management experience or mix of student and conventional.
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, proficiency in using property management software is preferred (Entrata),
- Strong Interpersonal Skills - Someone who gets energy from interacting with others, is excited about meeting new people, and building relationships. Has a proven ability to schedule, train, and supervise.
