JOB SUMMARYProvide strategic direction, which includes planning, development, and execution of long-term strategy for a business unit within Payment Operations. Advise management of solutions and enhancements to achieve efficiencies in order to accomplish departmental/corporate objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct the evaluation of new and revised systems, process improvements, procedures, and methodologies that are of low to moderate complexity and will be used to improve the quality, delivery, and profitability of assigned operations areas.
2. 24x7 operational support of assigned applications; 2nd level daily production support of the Operations team
3. Serve as Business Unit Subject Matter Expert for low complexity IT projects and initiatives with work efforts in the areas of technical problem identification and resolution, performance and productivity improvement, product development and quality enhancements.
4. Direct activities of assigned functional areas to ensure appropriate support for merger/conversion process in order to allow for a seamless integration.
5. Continuously evaluate existing operations and implement appropriate changes for improving quality, productivity and efficiency for assigned areas of responsibility.
6. Identify technological resources and organizational processes to build high quality cooperative and productive operations.
7. Assist with the development, documentation, and execution of Business Recovery Plans for supported systems, products, and services. Participate in all scheduled Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testing efforts with Truist IT areas, vendors and processors.
8. Actively participate in business requirements planning meetings and design review sessions with line of business partners and stakeholders to implement systems enhancements, upgrades, and new products/services that are of low complexity.
9. Actively participate in the development and execution of thorough test plans to ensure the delivery of sound enhancements, upgrades, and new products/services that are of low to moderate complexity.
10. Develop and implement standards, procedures and processes for the area responsible by utilizing industry standards and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and related training
2. Must possess the versatility to effectively perform multiple time sensitive responsibilities in a high pressure environment
3. Demonstrated understanding of applied enterprise computing technology
4. Knowledge of mainframe/server systems and network infrastructure
5. Creative, flexible, decisive, and adaptable to a dynamically changing business/production environment
6. Proven analytical, problem solving and project management skills
7. Must be available for after-hours support and maintain a flexible schedule
8. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Five years of Operational experience within supported Line of Business.
