Job Summary

The Program Manager, Advanced Nurse Education Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (ANE-SANE), will be responsible for a range of grant implementation and day-to-day operations, reporting, and evaluative processes. This role provides guidance to the ANE-SANE Administrative Assistant and other designated individuals performing grant-related activities.

This position will report to Director of Simulation and Innovation Center.

This Program Manager, ANE-SANE position is grant-funded for three years and will end in June 2027.

Responsibilities*

Operational and Fiscal Management of ANE-SANE Grant:

  • Oversee daily activities and lead projects
  • Help develop the SANE Program and curricula
  • Establish and coordinate ongoing student orientation
  • Coordinate and monitor a portfolio of student enrichment services and support that will assist college transition/navigation to student status
  • Coordinate and monitor ongoing expedited student admission processes
  • Supervisory functions related to Administrative Assistant (s) and other designated grant-related personnel focused on achieving coordinated-productive performance.Financial accounting and coordination of grant budget/expenditures and development of processes to support grant compliance and required reporting.
  • Collaboration and support related to consultants (web designer, faculty educator, advertising firm, and grant evaluator)
  • Participation in the identification of consultants, contract negotiations, and management
  • Oversight, completion, and communication
  • Coordination of required federal outcome reporting

Recruitment and Partnership Building:

  • Implementation and management of grant-delineated/needed ongoing recruitment processes to achieve student growth consistent with defined thresholds
  • Tailor and stratify recruitment materials/approaches to attract and welcome maximum heterogeneity in the SANE student recruits.
  • Integrate recruitment tactics with university-at-large efforts to the extent possible, to achieve exceptional notoriety, i.e. radio/television, billboards, electronic websites, campus TVs, buses on selected routes, social media.
  • Maintain and distribute monthly recruitment reports to designate grant-related personnel
  • Provide leadership/oversight for grant-delineated recruitment plan; establish and coordinate (with Advisor) regular recruitment events.

Information and Communication Coordination:

  • Participate in and provide presentations/communication briefings at meetings and other gatherings
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with HRSA grants management specialists and the Program Officer
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of education seminars for faculty, students, and other partners
  • Oversee the coordination and monitor effectiveness of the SANE program
  • Establish and manage ongoing grant status reports for designated internal (university) and external (community and other partners) members
  • Implement and oversee a dedicated SANE website
  • Oversight and participation in the establishment and regular distribution of SANE newsletter

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience related to the responsibilities of the position
  • Maintain relationships with a variety of members including staff, students, faculty, consultants, and community partners
  • Experience working with diverse, multicultural groups, including racial and ethnic minorities and other traditionally underrepresented groups

Modes of Work

Hybrid:

The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
