Our boutique agency client, in the food ingredient/ nutraceutical space, is looking for a Full Time Media Relations Manager to join their team in supporting their B2B client's media efforts!
This is an exciting role for a Media Relations Manager, passionate about the food ingredient and/or health/wellness industries, to develop and implement PR strategies to secure media opportunities.
You'll be responsible for working alongside the VP of media relations to grow relationships with the media; resulting news coverage on clients behalf.
This role is fully remote!
Requirements of the Media Relations Manager:
- 3+ years of experience executing successful public relations initiatives
-Experience pitching story ideas to media outlets
-Background in media relations (major plus if in food, science and/or health/wellness industries)
- Strong writing skills: Samples are required to be considered for this role
Responsibilities of the Media Relations Manager:
-Working with account team and clients to develop, support and manage public relation campaigns and media programs
-Researching, copywriting and distribution of press releases
-Building and update PR contact lists, distribution lists, database lists
-Developing and managing relationships and opportunities with key media sources
-Monitoring both paid and earned media, compilation and creation of reports
-Supporting and implementing other PR activities such as trade show activity and event planning
-Researching media landscape, monitor trends
