Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $116,505.77 yearly
To allow for growth and salary progression the full salary range is $116,505.77 - $159,495.49 annually. Employees will have the opportunity to move through the posted range based on annual performance reviews and merit increases.

Position Information The Marketing, Communications & Corporate Relations Manager reports to the Director of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. This position develops strategic marketing and communications plans; ensures that communication enhances mission and brand; helps identify new revenue opportunities; oversees market research, advertising, media relations, corporate sponsorship programs, and manages integrated internal and external marketing and communications deliverables to meet the current and future financial needs of the department.The manager focuses on data-driven decision-making, including strategies for leveraging information about market conditions, competitor data, and other business intelligence, to develop and implement effective strategic marketing and communications plans.
The position is a member of the senior leadership team of the department and serves on the District’s Marketing and Communications leadership team.
