Job Summary

As an engineer on our team, you will work as part of a truly innovative, fun and growing team responsible for developing, testing and debugging our Cloud storage offerings. You will focus on the Customer 1st and foremost in all that you do, whether it is working through the full development cycle from design to Cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex product requirements into leading-edge Kubernetes-based customer solutions using Golang and Python.
  • You'll build quality into your code through unit and integration test development and continuous DevOps pipelines.
  • Provide team and project technical leadership, mentor other engineers and participate in technical decisions.
  • Work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team and company goals.

Job Requirements

  • This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results.
  • Very proficientin GoLang and have advanced understanding.
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • Ability to participate in and drive technical discussions with your team and other cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with developing solutions for hyperscale environments.
  • Experience interacting with and building web APIs. Experience with RESTful + JSON RPC services.
  • Experience in Test driven development, writing automated tests and working with test-gated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with developing Kubernetes-based solutions.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies andapplycreative ideas to solve problems
  • Work independently with minimal guidance from other Senior members in the team
  • Experience working with containers in a build and test environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Be willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute to product and company goals
  • Highly knowledgeable in infrastructure like hypervisor, Cloud Storage and experience with cloud services including Databases, Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancers, Networking etc.

Education

A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 152,150 - 226,490 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
