JUNIOR UNDERWRITER
K2 Insurance Services, LLC, through its affiliated insurance companies and agencies, continues to expand its product offerings and distribution by developing new insurance programs and increasing the number and geographic diversity of its marketing, sales, underwriting, and support staff.
T2Green Insurance, a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC, is seeking a full-time Junior Underwriter to join their underwriting team at their Wayne, PA office.
T2Green provides comprehensive insurance solutions for private/semi-private Golf and Country Clubs, Golf Resorts, Golf Management Companies, and Social/City Clubs throughout the U.S.

Salary Range: 50,000-65,000 USD Annually
Junior Underwriter Role:
- Work directly with Senior Underwriters to collect, review and analyze an applicant to determine the liability / level of risk of insuring, coverage needs and appropriate pricing.
- Offer management recommendations on whether or not to approve an application.
- Follow up with Brokers to obtain documentation and outstanding items.
- Keep detailed records / notes of policies underwritten and decisions made.
- Assist management in developing and maintaining a profitable book of business.
- Assist management in negotiating terms, conditions and pricing to ensure profitability.
- Work within a team-oriented environment to collaborate on risk and strategy.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of coverage forms and endorsements.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of carrier guidelines.
- Confidently make educated decisions on behalf of the company and our carriers.

Technical Skills:
- 2 - 4 years of prior underwriting experience.
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and ability to relate policy provisions to loss exposure.
- College Degree in Risk Management (Highly Preferred).
