Responsibilities
As the Inventory Manager for our run specialty retail stores, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory processes across multiple locations. You will ensure efficient stock levels, accuracy, and organization to meet the needs of our customers while maintaining the high standards of our brand. Key responsibilities include:
Inventory Management & Hygiene
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory across all stores, ensuring all stock is properly tracked and accounted for.
- Oversee daily inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure that inventory is organized, clean, and well-maintained, with a focus on product shelf life, damage prevention, and product rotation.
Training & Support for Inventory Coordinators
- Provide training and ongoing support to Inventory Coordinators at all store locations to ensure proper inventory management practices.
- Collaborate with store managers and inventory staff to standardize inventory procedures, improve efficiency, and maintain consistency across all locations.
- Conduct regular training sessions and provide troubleshooting assistance when issues arise.
Inventory Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor stock levels across all stores to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained without overstocking or understocking.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to identify potential stock imbalances, slow-moving items, and high-demand products.
- Provide insights and reports to the Inventory Team and leadership on inventory turnover, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs based on sales data, seasonal trends, and customer demand.
- Partner with the sales team to ensure inventory supports promotional events and seasonal pushes, ensuring product availability for key customer segments.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Proactively recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the inventory management system.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and enforcement of inventory policies and procedures.
- Support other departments with inventory-related needs, including product returns, transfers, and special orders.
Qualifications
- 2+ years retail and/or marketing experience required and management experience preferred (if managing employees)

Additional Requirements: Position requires occasional moving around with light (1-10lbs.) carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling. The position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office equipment, etc. The position is mostly sedentary and requires the employee to have close visual acuity to perform job requirements. The position requires frequent communication with team members and repetitive motion with the hands, wrists and/or fingers while constantly utilizing a computer. This position is located within an office environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
