Paid Search Specialist - Hybrid in Houston
Our retail client has an immediate need for a Paid Search Specialist
This is a 40 hour a week, freelance, HYBRID role that requires 3 days ONSITE (T,W and Th preferred but flexible) and 2 days remote.
This role has the potential to convert to direct-hire after 5 months.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business goals and craft effective paid media strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, audience analysis, and competitive assessments to inform campaign strategies.
- Implement end-to-end paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Bing and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, CTR, CPM, and conversion rates.
- Allocate and manage multi-million-dollar budgets efficiently across campaigns and platforms to maximize ROI.
- Implement bid strategies and adjustments for optimal campaign performance.
- Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives aligned with brand messaging and target audience preferences.
- Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives to identify top-performing assets.
- Enhance Quality Score, Account Health, or platform equivalent.
- Track and manage product feeds from third party platform to Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms.
- Ensure optimal product listings and site compliance by regularly monitoring Google Merchant Center.
- Utilize tools including GA4, Meta, Google Ads, and other analytics tools to track campaign performance.
- Generate insightful reports and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- Clearly communicate campaign results, insights, and optimizations to clients.
- Track key KPIs over time and strategize for continuous improvement.
- Foster strong relationships cross functional teams , serving as a secondary point of contact for paid media discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in SEM and Shopping with an e-commerce company
- Google AdWords or Bing AdCenter Certified (SEM, Shopping and Merchant Center)
- Proficient in Microsoft 360 suite
- Working knowledge in Tableau and Adobe Analytics
- Proficient with Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, GA4 and feed management platforms like Channel Advisor/Feedonomics
- Demonstrates strong ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross functional teams
- Demonstrates action oriented attitude while working on projects and new opportunities/challenges
- Strong and effective communication skills
