Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Job overview:
Schneider is seeking an HR Compliance Analyst in Green Bay to handle requirements related to Schneider's hiring, retention and transition of foreign nationals for temporary and permanent assignments in and out of the U.S. The HR Compliance Analyst will execute processes required by immigration laws and regulations and respond to inquiries from external legal agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations that come in through the Ethics Hotline, associates, managers and HR business partners.
- Prepare for investigations through conducting interviews, gathering data and creating documentation.
- Collaborate with Legal, HR and other leaders throughout the investigation process.
- Participate in disciplinary action meetings.
- Research and publish minimum wage data to internal parties.
- Lead Schneider's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act training program for the enterprise.
- Research and understand employment and labor legislation and ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
- Track program metrics and hold leaders accountable for the completion of requirements.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, leadership or a related field.
- 2-4 years of employment law compliance, human resources or related work experience.
- Experience with using internal and external systems and databases to conduct research and generate reports.
- Knowledge of HR and employment laws.
- Knowledge of compliance issues related to immigration, workplace harassment and anti-discrimination laws.
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and state and local employment laws.
- Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
