Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building enhancements and providing application support for our Mortgage Insurance Origination application, from a vendor hosted platform. This platform utilizes Java Middleware, APIs, and XML Service integration, and is hosted on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new features and enhancements for the Mortgage Insurance Origination platform.
  • Provide ongoing application support and maintenance to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Utilize Java Middleware, APIs, and XML Service integration to build and enhance platform functionalities.
  • Manage and optimize the platforms AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of bi-annual new releases for functionality enhancements.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java Middleware, APIs, and XML Service integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
