Full Job Description
The Sarah Neuman Center of The New Jewish Home is seeking two ( 2) variable part time Food Service Workers who will join our team!
Here are the basic functions of the job:
- Setup dining room , steamtable and cold stations for meal service.
- Records food, dish machine, refrigerator and freezer temperatures
- reviews menu spread sheet prior to meal service.
- Serves meals according to diet and written instructions on meal ticket.
- Cleans and sanitizes tables, dishware, equipment and countertops after each meal.
- Maintains adequate quantities of supplies in storage, dates, rotates and discards outdated items.
- Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to function in a flexible work environment.
