The Operations Manager at Hotel Kabuki oversees all food and beverage outlets within the hotel operated by Hyatt which may include restaurants, lounges, coffee bars, regency clubs and/or banquet facilities. The Operations Manager at times, may be responsible to support other divisions throughout the property if additional support is required to exceed the guests expectations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Short and long term planning of the hotel outlet operations in the front and back of the house
- Implement and maintain food & beverage sales
- Support in the development of marketing programs and social media content
- Coordinate special events at the hotel
- Maintain and enhance hotel amenity and experience programs to align with the JDV brand experiences
- Develop and recommend concepts and objectives and manage within approved plans
- Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Direct and oversee development of employees. Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel
- Complete payroll, run reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for outlet operations
- Responsible for kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation and sanitation for outlets, banquets and colleague dining.
- Resolve guest complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction
- Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
- Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards

Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people and inspire others
- 2 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience (preferably with Hyatt)
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator.
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts
Wage scale for this position is $66,100 - 95,700 a year.
