Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager, you will support and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) Program and Business Continuity efforts at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. This includes working to develop professional relationships with personnel of various levels throughout the local Bank Departments and the wider Federal Reserve System (FRS) to identify, assess, monitor, and report risk.

This description represents the higher level of a dual grade posting. Applicants with slightly less experience are welcome to apply and may be considered for the lower grade.

What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to the development, documentation, communication, distribution, and ongoing maintenance of the Bank's business continuity policies, plans, and procedures
  • With moderate guidance, assist the ERM Manager and Staff in ensuring the Bank's contingency planning activities comply with FRS mandated policies, timelines, and service level requirements
  • Support primary partners (e.g., other Bank Departments) in the coordination of Bank-related business continuity exercises including business continuity testing and training activities that ensure readiness and the ability to recover from events or threats that interrupt the Bank's operations
  • Prepare presentations for meetings and training sessions related to the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Programs
  • Help implement new Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity tools and technology, in addition to other new tools and technology, like AI, as they are made available across the Bank
  • Investigate, document, and report risk events in a timely manner
  • Support the ERM Manager and Staff in risk identification, risk assessment, risk monitoring, and risk and strategy reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements

What You Have:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in risk management and/or business continuity practices or concepts
  • Experience with project management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong PC skills, experience with Microsoft suite of office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to partner with teams in a flexible manner to enhance value, anticipate and resolve challenges, and recognize the value of building, maintaining, and enhancing partner relationships

The salary grade for this position is: 9/10. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, and skills, and internal equity and alignment with market data.
